In the final episode of our 3-part series on lifestyle medicine for the heart, Dr Shanny Chang, dentist at Junction Family Dental Care, shares why our oral health matters for our heart. Our gums are an extension of our skin and damage to our gums can lead to the spread of bacterial infection and inflammation in other parts of our bodies, including the heart.
