Bi-weekly peer support group for anyone on a journey towards a healthier weight


Join our bi-weekly support group for the encouragement and inspiration you need to achieve your weight goals.

For only $100 CAD annual fee:

  • Meet and share with others on a journey to a healthier weight

  • Learn latest science on nutrition, exercise, stress management and other lifestyle factors for effective weight loss

  • Be inspired by successful weight loss stories

  • Learn practical tips for achieving your weight goals

  • Casual, friendly, supportive setting

  • Facilitated by compassionate doctors and professional healthcare providers

Support group details

Time: Mondays 6 - 7 pm. See events calendar here for session days and times.

Location: Our North York Lifestyle Medicine Clinic (4150 Chesswood Dr, Toronto, ON, M3J 2B9)

Typical format:

1) Sharing experiences and successes/challenges
2) Main component comprised of one or more of:

  • Short information sharing on weight-related topic by doctor/facilitator

  • Health talk by special guest speakers

  • Inspirational personal weight loss success story by special guest and Q&A

  • Discussion on weight-loss topic

3) Set goal(s) until next session

* The format may vary based on input/feedback from support group members

Who should join? Anyone seeking to achieve or maintain a healthier weight, and friends/family who wish to support their loved ones
