Contrast showers are a commonly practiced form of hydrotherapy. The constriction and dilation of the blood vessels increases circulation and is an effective way to assist the work of the immune system. 

Performing contrast showers is quite simple. The steps are as follows:

  1. Hot water - 3 minutes
  2. Cold water - 30 seconds
  3. repeat for 3 - 4 changes. 
  4. End on cold*
  5. Quickly dry off afterwards


*The treatment ends on cold water to close the pores. 

Contrast showers are easy to perform, can be done in your own home with minimal assistance,  cost next to nothing but works well to assist the work of the immune system.
